Craig,
What your article says and what any Qatar Airways pilot I’ve spoken with are quite different. Your article says absolutely nothing about actual work life of the pilots, hours, layovers, management relations, upgrades, cultural, differences, pay, cost of living, Doha… It’s nicely written, but doesn’t help any pilot actually considering going there IMO.
Thanks,
Mark S,

Mark,
The articles that we publish are not written by us, but the airline themselves. Unfortunately they have restriction on what can be published in Aero Crew News. Having worked two job fairs that Qatar Airways has attendant I know that their recruitment team is willing to answer any and all questions related to working and living in Doha. Both times they have brought line Captains to talk with prospective new hires and discuss life on the line. I will do what I can to find out more information for you the next time that I speak with them.
Thank you,
Craig D. Pieper
Editor in Chief
