Hawaiian Airlines announced a historic merger agreement with Alaska Airlines. We are hopeful that this new merger agreement will provide benefits to our guests as well as the pilots of both Hawaiian and Alaska Airlines. While we await further details on this agreement, Hawaiian Airlines’ pilots, represented by the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA), remain focused on providing safe, responsible transportation service to our passengers throughout the islands and across the Pacific.

The Hawaiian Airlines Master Executive Council (HAL MEC) looks forward to building on our strong, existing relationship with our ALPA colleagues at Alaska Airlines, and working toward a bright and productive future as a single, unified pilot group.

The HAL MEC represents over 1,100 Hawaiian Airlines pilots, who fly more than 150 daily flights between six Hawaiian islands and connect Hawaii to 15 U.S. gateway cities, American Samoa, Australia, the Cook Islands, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, and Tahiti.
