airBaltic’s New On-Board Menu Includes Over 45% Products from Latvia

Riga. The Latvian national airline, airBaltic reveals that its new summer season onboard menu includes more than 45% products from Latvia, which are available on all airBaltic flights. This offer involve a variety of snacks, drinks and meals, made by different manufacturers from Latvia.

New additions to the existing range of Latvian products on airBaltic’s summer season menu include Rocket Bean coffee and tea, Rudy’s Kombucha, and Rīga crafted cider by Tālava. Additionally, both – Business Class and Economy Class meals are prepared using products from Latvia.

Zane Eglīte, Inflight Service Manager at airBaltic: “When it comes to planning a new seasonal menu, we always strive to understand our customers' preferences while exploring ways to introduce new products. It is very important for us to include products from Latvia on board. By doing so, we not only meet our customers' needs during the inflight service but also promote these products to a global audience, including passengers from around the world.”

“We are continuously analyzing our inflight assortment and looking into new products to implement in our menu, to provide our passengers with a wider range of options,” Eglīte added.

In addition to the inflight menu, airBaltic serves its Business Class passengers a seasonal three-course meal prepared by a chef using Latvian products, and offers a wide selection of beverages throughout the flight. Meanwhile, Economy Class passengers can pre-order their meal before the flight, choosing from over 25 options.
