Oshkosh, WI — The Air Care Alliance (ACA), a national network of charitable aviation organizations, is proudly collaborating with the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026, the world’s largest aviation gathering, to spotlight the life-changing impact of public benefit flying. The week-long event held at the Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, WI is running from July 20-26 with more than 650,000 people attending.

EAA is hosting ACA in a prominent structure on the Southwest Corner of Boeing Plaza. This display highlights the diverse volunteer organizations and aircraft used daily by volunteer pilots to deliver aid, transport patients, and serve communities in need. This year’s joint campaign is “I WANT YOU FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT FLYING” with graphics including the popular legend rendition of “Uncle Sam”. ACA’s goal is to recruit 200 new volunteer pilots.

Throughout the week, ACA and its member organizations — are working together to inspire and recruit the next generation of volunteer pilots.

In addition to its recruitment efforts, ACA’s presence is stretched across the event, with representatives participating in forums, presentations, media interviews, and providing vital contributions to published articles regarding the Public Benefit Flying. This broad engagement helps bring national attention to the role of charitable aviation and the opportunities available for pilots to serve communities from the cockpit.

The effort is made possible by an incredible team of supporters. More than 30 volunteers are contributing their time throughout the week, staffing the ACA structure on the grounds, assisting with forums, and helping connect interested pilots to opportunities with ACA member organizations.

“On behalf of Air Care Alliance, I would like to extend our deepest thanks to EAA for their extraordinary support at AirVenture 2026,” said Mark Hanson, ACA’s President. “This partnership allows us to showcase the heart of public benefit flying and celebrate new pilots who will join our mission to serve communities in need.”

ACA celebrates its continued partnership with EAA and aviation organizations nationwide to expand awareness and participation in public benefit flying.
