Jason Seibert is a Contributing Author for Aero Crew News. Jason is responsible for writing aviation related articles about airline contracts and pathways to its entry. He obtained his Bachelors of Science in Computer Science along with a minor in Criminal Justice from The University of Maryland, University College, in 2000. After college, he joined General Dynamics IT where he supported the US Navy's FA-18 Foreign Military Sales program providing a wide verity of IT solutions. Additionally, in 2001 he joined the Air National Guard and has flown the T-37, T-44, C-130E and H, C-5A and B and the RC-26B for SOCOM. Jason has logged more than 600 hours of combat and combat support time and been awarded two Air Medals and two Aerial Achievement Medals. To top all of this off, Jason is also a Captain and Line Check Airman for a regional airline with a type rating in the Canada Air CRJ-200 and has logged over 4,500 hours of flying time since his introductory flight on 2000. Additionally, he serves as a Senior Pilot hiring team member, recruiter and is the Chief Accident Investigator.
