CommuteAir will begin flying international charters in November after the U.S. Department of Transportation granted the airline broad international operating authority, clearing it to serve countries covered under Open Skies and other agreements. The first flights will operate to the Bahamas using the airline's 76-seat Embraer E170s.

CommuteAir is scheduled to operate its first international charter flights this November to the Bahamas utilizing its Embraer E170 E-Jet aircraft, which commenced domestic charter operations in 2024. The E170 offers a nonstop range of over 2,000 miles, a spacious cabin, large overhead bins, onboard galley capabilities, and comfortable seating for up to 76 passengers. The aircraft is ideally suited for corporate shuttles, sports teams, incentive travel, casino charters, government movements, tour operators, and other customized group transportation needs.
